Direct Service Providers Needed

The Corliss Institute, a small non-profit agency in Warren, RI, is seeking full-time and part-time Direct Service Professionals (DSP). The position serves as an integral member of a collaborative team that provides support to a small community of deaf and hard of hearing adults with developmental disabilities. The DSP is responsible for supporting, teaching, and empowering our members in this 24-hour residential community. Assist with program implementation, meal preparation, ADL skills training, transportation and other duties as needed. Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends.   Proficiency in ASL preferred. 

Will pay $18/hour plus, based on experience. Full-time is eligible for benefits.

Licensed Practical Nurse

The Corliss Institute, a small non-profit agency in Warren, RI, is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN with current RI License). The position reports directly to the Director of Health and Wellness and serves as an integral member of a collaborative team that provides support to a small community of deaf and hard of hearing adults with development disabilities. This role assists in coordinating all aspects of health care and wellness management, as well as staff training, records maintenance, medication administration, needs assessment, case management and recommendations for members’ care plans. Familiarity with American Sign Language is a plus, but this skill may also be acquired on the job.
